Classic rocker Eddie Money is “Shakin’” up AXS TV, as the network announced today plans to film the beloved showman’s—and star of the AXS TV original series Real Money—May 25th concert at the DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan. The network will broadcast the concert at a later date.
The set marks the 27TH consecutive year that Money and his band will help open the theatre’s summer concert season, a beloved tradition that first began in 1992. The night promises to deliver yet another raucous performance, as the chart-topping singer, songwriter, and saxophone player takes the stage to rock the crowd with some of his biggest hits. Joining Money onstage are his children—and fellow Real Money stars—daughter Jessie Money on backing vocals, and sons Dez Money and Julian Money on guitar and drums, respectively.
“Since its premiere on April 9, Real Money has quickly become a fan-favorite series and one of AXS TV’s top performers,” said Evan Haiman, vice president of music programming and production, AXS TV. “Viewers have really enjoyed watching Eddie and his family at home.
