About the Author: Shawn Persinger, a.k.a. Prester John, has written articles, features, and lessons for Guitar PlayerFrets and Taylor Guitar’s Wood & Steel. He is a faculty member of Guitar Intensives in Bar Harbor, ME; The Center for Creative Youth in Middletown, CT; and has served on the faculty at The National Guitar Workshop. Persinger has been featured in Guitar Player, Guitar Shop, Guitar WorldRelixJazziz, and Premier Guitar.
