Guitar International’s next Splash Track artist DEVI and our publisher were talking about promoting favorite causes and Debra (lead guitarist/vocalist) suggested that DEVI run a video on Farm Sanctuary. We wholeheartedly agreed and Deb sent us the group’s video to share with our readers. By the way, DEVI’s Splash Track will be a crunching guitar rendition of Neil Young’s “The Needle and the Damage Done.”
The Farm Sanctuary website states their interests are aimed at ending cruelty to farm animals and promoting compassionate living through rescue, education and advocacy. The group also envisions a world, “…where the violence that animal agriculture inflicts upon people, animals and the environment has ended, and where instead we exercise values of compassion.”
Guitar International encourages our readers, performing artists and others to support the interests of Farm Sanctuary and other charities of their choice. And, of course, we thank DEVI for sharing their video with us and we encourage other performing artists to do the same. Check it out!
