Blues Dedication to My Father  (March 11, 2007)

This is an entry dedicated to my father who recently passed away. He was a heck of a blues lover. As long as I remember, I've heard BB King live, Albert King live, Freddie King live, Albert Collins live, Elmore James, Jimmy Reed, and many others. I 'd say if it were not for the blues, my whole approach would be different, probably similar to the kind of Jazz that George Duke describes on his website. Recording and Performance Pressures  (January 4, 2007)

Hello fellow guitarists, I hope all is well! The topic today is about the pressure I certainly felt while recording for Md. Public TV . The airing will be on Jan.10 at 7:30 pm. It is no joke. I recently heard Randy Napolean play and was amazed at his fingerstyle technique using rest strokes. He managed to play fluently at all speeds and to keep a consistent tone per string to my ears. We talked about running/jogging which we both indulge in. We have found that it helps maintain the body and helps it to recover faster than many other types of activities... Jazz for Peace and News from the Front Line  (September 8, 2006)

Hello again fellow musicians. I recently had the pleasure of being selected to be the guitarist for the Jazz For Peace big band out of NYC. It was truly a culturally significant event that should have great success in this very troubled world. As a member I'm found on the youtube.com in a Baltimore concert. For further info, look at the website: www.jazzforpeace.org. You' ll find photos and sound tracks that will show the leader in concert with great players such as Dave Valentin, Eddie Gomez, and several others...
