Kicking Off 2009  (March 4, 2009)

January finished with a bang, as Daisy Rock took the 2009 NAMM show by storm. New models, such as the Rock Candy Classic in a new White Lightening finish dazzled many and became a show-stopping favorite, and our new high-end acoustics, the Wildwood Artist Deluxe and the Zebra Butterfly Acoustic/Electric, impressed many show attendees with their quality sound and glitzy appearance. Now we can show the boys that we can rock just as hard as them, but in style. This year we added a twist with our partner company Alfred Publishing, by adding a product demo stage to our booths and inviting endorsees to stop by and show off their favorite riffs. Check out the clip below from Daisy Rock Artists The Bangles, who drew such a crowd that it surrounded the entire Daisy Rock booth for over two hours at NAMM. They totally rocked and it was definitely the highlight of the 2009 NAMM show... Continue reading "Kicking Off 2009"

Daisy Rock Rocks a Happy Holiday Season  (December 22, 2008)

As 2008 fades into 2009, and families gather together to celebrate Christmas and the new year to come; the frenzy of holiday shopping is inevitable. But don’t let the economy and spending get you down! Let music take the lead and rock your worries away this holiday season! This December, my rock starlet daughters Nicole and Sophia performed at the Village Christian Annual Christmas Recital and played “O Christmas Tree” and “Jingle Bells” - Daisy style! Sing along to Christmas carols, write your own version of a Christmas song, and give the gift of music with your friends! Daisy Rock Artist Lucy Levinsohn from the band Waiting 4 Wyatt can show you how it’s done. Check out this cool parody of “Human” turned into “Rudolph”... New Celebs Rock With Daisy Rock  (November 19, 2008)

While summer has transitioned to autumn, artists and bands are gearing up for fall and winter tours. Making guitars fit specifically for the female form, with a lighter weight and slimmer neck profile, is one thing; but it is truly the artists hitting the road, night after night, that continue to spread the Daisy Rock mission and inspire females everywhere to keep rocking! This year, I’ve had the pleasure of welcoming many new faces to the Daisy Rock family, who embody the complete representation of Daisy Rock; strong, artistic, and empowered females who rock. I’d like to take the time to spotlight a few, and let you know not only what they are up to right now, but how they Daisy Rock... Continue reading "New Celebs Rock With Daisy Rock"

Girl Guitars, Summer Rock Camps, and the Future of Women in Rock  (October 7, 2008)

When I last checked in, I mentioned my jam-packed fall calendar. I really wasn’t joking! Since I last wrote, Daisy Rock has been to Winter NAMM, Summer NAMM, X Games, and Girl Rock Camps all across the country to support our future women in rock. My world has been spinning, and I’m lovin’ every moment. This year Daisy Rock continued to create guitars that fit today’s female form and style -meanwhile keeping all the things that make them Girl Guitars; The slim-neck profiles, the light-weight construction, and the inspiring designs. We tried to find new ways to incorporate today’s female style with the Daisy Rock features to bring the hottest guitars, and I’m proud of what we designed. Our electric Siren Guitars offer a unique style with the highest quality fittings, including D’Addario strings and Grover tuners, and our Butterfly: Jumbo Acoustic-Electric offers a twist on the classic acoustic guitar style with beautiful butterfly inlays and a rich bubinga finish for a great tone... Up Close and Personal with Daisy Rock Artist E.G. Daily  (October 22, 2007)

The sun was just beginning to set as I pulled into the Starbucks lot in Burbank, California. While the rest of the world stood guard ready for winter to strike at any moment, I quickly donned a light sweater to complete my simple skirt and t-shirt look and hurried into the coffee shop. Usually, I rush in and out, ordering my latte before heading for a meeting or occasional concert, but today was different. I searched for a free table, spotted one in the corner and settled in. This would be no drink-and-run. This afternoon, I was meeting with E.G. Daily. Moments later, E.G. appeared. Smiling in recognition when she saw me, I couldn’t help but grin back. Her Blackberry in one hand, designer Hobo bag in the other, she had that look of the typical L.A. woman, constantly on the go and stretched just a little too thin. But, E.G. is not your typical L.A. woman. Performing musician (she recently appeared with Heart and is releasing a new album), long-time actress (over 20 movies and constantly in demand for her voiceover talent), I was there to find out what it was like to be E.G. Daily, to live her life and walk in her shoes. We ordered our drinks and I got right to the heart of the matter. Continue reading "Up Close and Personal with Daisy Rock Artist E.G. Daily"
