Owl guitarist Jason Mezilis has offered Guitar International an exclusive guitar lesson that teaches our readers how he plays Owl’s new release, “Things You Can’t See“.
Owl is an L.A. – New York City based rock band, whose recently released third album is propulsive and powerful and one we’ll all get a kick out.
The brainchild of Owl vocalist and bassist, Chris Wyse, Owl is a three-piece group that debuted its signature rock with a debut album in 2009, followed by their second CD, The Right Thing in 2013.
Jason is a classically trained pianist and graduate from the University of California, Berkeley. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree [Music], and worked at a number or high-end recording studios in L.A., as well as paid his dues paying in a number of well-known local bands, including Your Horrible Smile.
Mezilis is the founder of Organic Audio Recorders, a recording studio that offers both analog and digital production services and is located in the downtown L.A. area.
