Les Paul’s Big Sound Experience Comes to the Show and Michael Braunstein, Executive Director of the Les Paul Foundation Appears at NAMM TEC TRACKS

Les Paul – The Tour comes to Summer NAMM (National Association of Musical Manufacturers) at Music City Center beginning Thursday July 9th through Saturday July 11th.

As part of the continuing 100th Anniversary Celebration of Les Paul NAMM attendees will have the opportunity to visit Les Paul’s Big Sound Experience at Exhibit Space 1358 during the highly anticipated musical manufacturers trade show.

Les Paul’s Big Sound Experience is a 53’ interactive state-of-the art mobile tour vehicle which takes visitors behind the scenes into the world of Les Paul giving them an opportunity for numerous interactive exchanges within 1,000 square feet full of music, technology and the energy of Les Paul!

Guests young and old will immerse themselves in music exploration, sound and technology innovations and hands-on interactive entertainment. Visitors will also be able to mix and share music as they discover Les Paul, the man many define as the most important innovator of the music industry.

The tour will be open Thursday, July 9th from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday, July 10th from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, July 11th from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Summer NAMM is the industry’s favorite mid-year gathering and provides the opportunity to network with peers, pick up the latest product trends and business tips. Les Paul, the man many attribute the reason why the music industry is even around, is among one of the many attractions at this year’s show. Michael Braunstein, Executive Director of The Les Paul Foundation will also appear at Thursday’s special event NAMM TEC Tracks. The session will take place at Booth 354 Stage at 10:30 a.m.

The NAMM TEC Tracks will kick off the entire session with a salute to Les Paul in celebration of the 100th Anniversary. Les Paul was known for so many things including his musicianship, invention, technology, innovation, humor and of course technology.

Les Paul’s Big Sound Experience is all about the music, the fans and the legacy of Les Paul.  Known also as the “Father of the Solid Body Electric Guitar,” “The Wizard of Waukesha,” “Rhubarb Red,” “The Father of Modern Music,” and more. Les Paul’s curiosity about sound began at a very young age. Contemporary artists such as Slash, ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons, Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Joan Jett, Jimi Hendrix and many others have paid homage to Les Paul throughout their careers.
