BlackMascot Label Group recording artist Shaman’s Harvest will begin a run as direct support for Black Stone Cherry on May 1 at District in Rockford, IL.  The band will appear on thirteen shows across the Midwest and South with major festival appearances interspersed within the itinerary.

Those include Rock On The Range in Columbus, OH (5/15), KPNT Pointfest in Maryland Heights, MO (5/23), and Rocklahoma in Pryor, OK (5/24).  On being asked to support Black Stone Cherry, Shaman’s Harvest front man Nathan Hunt states, “Couldn’t feel more right, us going out with B.S.C. You’d be hard pressed to find a more like minded group of guys. These are the shows we’ve been looking for, and I know ya’ll will feel that when you hear us together.”

Mascot Records has selected “Dirty Diana” as the follow-up single to the band’s lead track from Smokin’ Hearts & Broken Guns  “Dangerous”.

The Michael Jackson cover (Bad, 1987) has been a crown favorite when performed live, and a proven reactive song at radio, generating phones whenever spun at stations across the U.S.  In front of the release of “Dirty Diana,” Hunt offers, “We didn’t write Dirty Diana but it feels like us. There’s a traditional mood to it. It was important to us to keep the soul in the song as opposed to past rock representations of Michael’s work. It doesn’t feel like it doesn’t belong in our set when we play it out, and that’s really the ultimate test I think when you want to do a cover on your record.”

Jefferson City, Missouri’s Shaman’s Harvest issued Smokin’ Hearts & Broken Guns to a fan base that spoke loudly at cash registers across the country in Mid-September yielding a #5 “Heatseekers” debut in Billboard Magazine.  The single “Dangerous” rose high in to the Top 30 at Active Rock radio.  Loudwire premiered the band’s official video for the track which had a run in the Top ranked clips nationally for months.

Prior to signing to Mascot Label Group, Shaman’s Harvest achieved significant success with their independently released Shine album, which featured “Dragonfly.”  The song rose to number #16 on Billboard’s Active Rock chart and #9 at Heritage Rock, selling over 150,000 singles and tens of thousands of albums.  To date, the video has been viewed over 2.5 million times on YouTube.  Additionally, the composition was featured on the soundtrack of the major motion picture Legendary.  In 2010, Shaman’s Harvest recorded “Broken Dreams” for the WWE as the theme song for wrestler Drew McIntyre, and cut “End of Days” as the entrance track for Wade Barrett and The Corre.
