On Tuesday, October 1, 2013, Hard Rock officially celebrated the Grand Reopening of its newly renovated Baltimore location by partnering with Paul Reed Smith Guitars [PRS Guitars], a Maryland-based guitar manufacturer, to donate 16 new PRS SE Angelus acoustic guitars to Baltimore’s Frederick Douglass High School’s music department. The donation, which was accepted by the school’s band director, honored PRS Guitars and Hard Rock Cafe’s long standing traditions of supporting local music. “These guitars are truly a blessing, and I guarantee they will be well loved and well played” said Douglass Band Director, Reverend David Burton.

The Hard Rock Baltimore, located along Baltimore’s famous Inner Harbor, features the world’s largest PRS McCarty model guitar lit up atop the building’s facade.
