Rush fans should also look for the November 21, 2011 release of Universal Music Enterprises celebration of the Canadian rock trio’s legacy with the release of three separate six-disc box sets that span the entire Mercury Records recording history of the band. Each Sector contains five of their 15 Mercury albums in chronological order, all transferred to hi resolution 96kHz/24-bit audio and digitally remastered for optimal quality.
Each volume includes an exclusive booklet packed with unpublished photos, original album lyrics and credits, and features one album from each set specifically remixed on DVD in high resolution and 5.1 surround sound and stereo. They’re compatible with both DVD-audio players and DVD-Video players. Each album will be packaged in a replica vinyl mini-jacket or the original album release with all three box sets forming a Rush CD road case.
