With the first issue of the Eternal Descent comic book series being published on March 31st, 2010, author Llexi Leon is turning heads with his unique combination of heavy metal, a love for everything guitar and the comic book written medium. Taking full advantage of the digital age, and giving a shout out to the classic comic book form, issues are available in hard copy, as well as digitally on ITunes and the PSP format.

Progressive Rock band Bigelf has been making a name for themselves for almost two decades, ever since they formed in Los Angeles in 1991. Finally getting the breaks they needed and deserved, many people are now fully realizing the potential power of Bigelf. After watching some of their videos online, one starts to notice a trend in the viewer comments, lines like “Who are these guys and why have I never heard of them? They’re awesome,” keep popping up over and over again.

Without viewing my article published seven months ago as a shameless plug here, I’d like to mention that when I wrote “Supergroups – Vultures, Chicks, and Other Picks,” I was certain that Slash was about to do something big, even though I knew nothing of his plans.
